Sonoma Clean Power (in partnership with PG&E) has developed a financial incentive program designed to bring homes being rebuilt in the burn zones up to 2020 code requirements. It is designed to cover the costs of energy efficiency upgrades that improve the energy performance of new homes.
Staff from Sonoma Clean Power would be happy to meet with you individually or as a group to discuss the programs benefits.
The link below will take you to a webpage that describes the program in more detail. Some highlights include:
Expected to launch in Late Spring/Early Summer
Thousands in incentives ($7,500-$17,500) depending on measures installed
50% of rebates offered at project permitting
Multiple pathways for participation
Simple online application
