The Financial Planning Association of San Francisco Pro Bono Committee offers free financial planning sessions for fire survivors. These one-hour sessions are not sales pitches. If there is enough interest, they may schedule more.
From their Flyer:
Certified Financial Planner® volunteers are offering their time to help Rosa residents get back on their feet after the dramatic firestorms. If you have never worked with a Financial Planner, a recent article from the New York Times, describes the benefits of having an independent financial sounding board when making financial decisions.
All advice is free and no business cards will be distributed.
