Pre-Permit Application Appointments at Resiliency Permit Centers
City of Santa Rosa Permits
Not required, but you may want to schedule a pre-permit application meeting to make sure you have all your stuff ready for the permit application. Owners are encouraged to come with their builders for these appts, but not required. Neighbors who might have similar questions are welcome to make an appointment for a group meeting. If your builder is building multiple houses, whether you need a pre-application appointment or need to attend with your builder is up to you and your builder. Check online for various rebuilding checklists. All owners are encouraged to call, drop by, or make appointments with any questions.
County of Sonoma (unincorporated areas) Permits
The County highly recommends homeowners to schedule a pre-permit application meeting to make sure you have all your stuff ready for the permit application. Owners are encouraged to come with their builders for these appts. Schedule about an hour for the meeting (I don’t have the answer re group meetings or group builds re the County permit center, but I might find the answer next week; folks are certainly welcome to chime in.)
