Pathways to Rebuilding Landscapes Workshop
Saturday, September 29, 2018
City of Santa Rosa Utilities Field Office
35 Stony Point Road, Santa Rosa
The Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership are providing a FREE workshop to provide guidance on using the Landscape Design Templates.
The Partnership developed eight scalable landscape design templates for the fire rebuild. These free, front yard designs are scalable to fit landscaped areas up to 2,500 square feet, ready-to-permit, and are in compliance with local Water Efficient Landscape Ordinances.
The workshop will provide a review of the templates and instruction on how to modify them to suit specific site needs.
The workshop will have two components:
- 8:00am to 9:00am – Overview of Landscape Templates – Learn about the Landscape Design Templates, how they are designed to be scalable, optional elements, and more.
- 9:00am to 10:30am OR 11:00am to 12:30pm – Hands-On Breakout Session* – make plant substitutions, select optional elements and make simple markups to your Landscape Design Template. (Choose one of of the sessions.)
*The Hands-On Breakout Sessions are not design consultations. If more complex modifications are desired, design assistance is available through your local landscape professionals.
